AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Coinciding with the birth anniversary of Lady Zahra (a.s.) and the celebration of Women’s Day, the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly organized the international webinar “Fatima Zahra (a.s.): From Self-Development to Global Influence; Today’s Fatemi Women’s Activism.”
This webinar was attended by active cultural sisters from 22 countries, including Lebanon, Iraq, Yemen, Bahrain, Tunisia, Mali, Kenya, Madagascar, Tanzania, Rwanda, Nigeria, Guinea Conakry, Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Turkey, Spain, the United Kingdom, Kosovo, Argentina, Uruguay, Venezuela, and Colombia.
Dr. Roknabadi, the Advisor to the Deputy for International Affairs of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, who chaired the webinar in Arabic and English, spoke about the blessings of love for Lady Zahra (a.s.), “Loving Lady Fatima Zahra (a.s.) creates a sense of responsibility and imposes a duty upon us. This duty is to act according to her teachings. Therefore, our love for her fosters self-development and global influence, as true love leads to obedience. A true follower of Lady Zahra (a.s.) adheres to her commands, her advice, and those of the AhlulBayt (a.s.).”
Regarding the virtues of Lady Zahra (a.s.), she said, “Fatima Zahra (a.s.) was a supporter of the Prophet (p.b.u.h) and Imam Ali (a.s.) during hardships. In worship, she amazed the angels, and in politics, she delivered eloquent, fiery sermons. While we cannot fully comprehend her spiritual status, her behavior with her husband and children and her dedication to household duties are exemplary. On the other hand, Lady Zahra (a.s.) stood as a bold and tireless jihadist, actively taking stances, defending, and resisting during critical political events. She was a true and tireless warrior in every sense.”
The Advisor to the Deputy for International Affairs of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly emphasized that accompanying the Imam is the most important characteristic of a Zahra-inspired community, adding, “Lady Zahra (a.s.) exemplified advocacy and inquiry. Her efforts were always marked by modesty, politeness, and determination. Clarification of truth was another significant aspect of her actions.”
Following this, eight participants in the webinar shared their views in English, Arabic, Spanish, and Persian.
The attendees highlighted the pivotal role of Fatemi women in society, emphasizing their active participation in resisting the global arrogance front. They noted that Fatemi women, inspired by the teachings of Lady Zahra (a.s.), set an example in advocating for justice, managing emotions in family life, and balancing social engagement with a profound connection to God.
Additionally, some participants discussed the prerequisites for clarifying contemporary truths based on the Fatemi model, emphasizing the importance of standing for justice, courage, transparency, strong reasoning, steadfastness, patience, and integrating politics with religion.
